Family Constellations in Person Workshops 2026

Family Constellations Workshops in London UK

Family Constellations Workshop – In Person, London UK:

A day of collective enquiry, supporting participants to shed light and gain perspective on everyday issues, with Rose C Jiggens – True Self Systems and Abi Berger – Healing Constellations.

About Family Constellations:

Family Constellations is a therapeutic approach for healing psychological pain, originated by German Psychotherapist Bert Hellinger. It recognises that individual humans exist within a myriad of systems, mostly made up of other individuals and wider shaping forces: e.g. the biological family or the workplace.

We all have blind spots meaning we act in ways which inadvertently create undesirable outcomes. Family Constellations illuminates how these blind spots may have their roots in past events and previous generations. Some of the stories will be handed down to us and we know them: our actions in the present can also be influenced by stories we don’t consciously know about.

A constellation can help reveal these “entanglements” with the past and support healing to take place.

What Can You Expect From a Constellation?

  • Sometimes we get some new data or information, something we didn’t know before.
  • Sometimes we find ourself feeling something new, or learn something about the feelings of others which we didn’t know before.
  • Sometimes we disentangle something in the system and rippling from that, a change takes place in life, which maybe become apparent immediately or over time.

Rose C Jiggens – True Self Systems

Individually we have long experienced the beneficial impact of constellations on our own personal and professional journeys. We met in 2017 and graduated together from a two year practitioner training with Robert Rowland Smith and Nicola Dunn.

Coming from different professional spheres – Abi is a GP and Rose a Somatic Therapist – we share a group constellation practice utilising our diverse professional skills and personal qualities.

What Happens in a Family Constellations Workshop?

Our groups have limited participants (10 or less) to create an environment in which everyone has an opportunity to participate in the ways outlined below. Our constellating style aims to be gentle and inclusive, opening the way to presence with yourself and the group.

We offer information and some short processes at the beginning to help everyone settle in, then we facilitate constellations for most of the day. A constellation: someone brings a question (they are the ‘issue holder’) and the rest of the group supports an exploration of it, some by representing elements of the issue discussed. You don’t need any prior experience for either role, you can decline any role as you choose.

For our in person groups: issue holder places are requested and paid for in advance. We allow roughly 45 minutes per constellation though timings may vary. Some groups include additional practices such a constellation exercises working in small groups.

Please let us know of any access needs you have and we will let you know if we can meet them.

Who Are These Family Constellations Workshops Suitable For?

Generally, these groups are suitable for and available to any adult (18+) who is interested in experiencing family constellations. These groups might be a good fit for you if:

  • You know or suspect there is ancestral or intergenerational trauma in your family system.
  • You would like to explore an issue with the support of a group.
  • You would like to experience a method which can shed light on hidden dynamics in relationships or a system – e.g. a family system, workplace, or organisation.
  • You would like to gain greater clarity on an issue that you face, or discover resources to help you move forward.
  • You would like to explore an issue in ways which might supplement your talking therapy.

These workshops might not be a good fit for you if:

  • Your needs would be better served by 1-2-1 therapy: these groups can supplement but not replace your own therapy.
  • Your needs would be better served by a medical or clinical practitioner: please consult your GP (or other appropriate professional) if you are not sure.
  • These workshops are not a crisis service: Mind – How to get help in a crisis.
  • Please do not attend under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
